Access to clean water is a fundamental human right. Yet many communities in remote villages across Eastern Indonesia still rely on unhygienic water sources located far from their settlements.
This program addresses these challenges through sustainable clean water infrastructure development — including solar-powered pump installations, reservoir construction, village piping systems, and community education on hygiene and basic sanitation.
Beyond physical infrastructure, we also establish trained village-level water management groups (HIPPAM) to ensure the operational continuity and maintenance of facilities after the program concludes. This approach empowers communities to become stewards of their own water resources.
To date, the program has reached more than 30 villages across Papua, Maluku, and NTT, directly impacting thousands of families who previously lacked access to adequate water.
